Data Engineer
Indexed description
Over time, you grow into one of the rarest professionals of the intelligence era: someone who bridges data, AI, and human decision-making at scale, across industries and geographies. This is not a role you fill. It is a discipline you master and a story you help write to become a Keyrus Architect of Intelligence.
Technology amplifies. Keyrus culture differentiates. Industrial discipline connects the two.
What You'll Architect
This role combines hands-on engineering with system design. You build the data environments that allow organisations to move from fragmented data to usable, scalable intelligence.
- Design and implement data architectures aligned with client data strategies
- Build and maintain data pipelines, covering ingestion, transformation, and storage
- Process large datasets using distributed frameworks such as Spark, Kafka, or Hadoop
- Structure data environments to support analytics, AI, and operational use cases
- Collaborate with architects on system design, integration, and performance improvements
- Integrate data platforms across cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Apply engineering best practices across data lifecycle management
- Support the evolution from traditional BI towards modern, scalable data platforms
- Work directly with clients to translate business needs into technical data solutions
- Contribute to improving software and database development practices
- You think in systems: flows, dependencies, and scalability
- You move confidently between building pipelines and contributing to architecture discussions
- You bring structure to complex or fragmented data landscapes
- You are pragmatic — focused on making data usable and reliable in real environments

- Knowledge of distributed data processing and streaming concepts (volume, velocity, variety)
- Experience with tools such as Databricks, Docker, Terraform is an advantage
- Working knowledge of Linux environments
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Experience with AI or data science environments
