As an Analyst in our Tax Technology Consulting team, you will serve as an AI/ML Engineer for our AI platform used across professional services.

The platform features a sophisticated AI stack including multi-model LLM support, agentic AI pipelines, a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) system with hybrid retrieval, a tool ecosystem, human-in-the-loop controls, and a document ingestion service handling OCR, layout analysis, chunking, and vector embeddings.

You will contribute to the agent framework, RAG pipeline, LLM integrations, tool ecosystem, and document ingestion. You will also participate in R&D — evaluating new models, testing new retrieval strategies, and prototyping new patterns.

This is an ideal role for someone early in their AI career who wants to build real production AI systems at scale.

#KeyResponsibilities

• Contribute to the agent framework — supporting both autonomous and structured multi-step AI pipelines
• Assist in improving the RAG pipeline — retrieval strategies, ranking, citation generation, and document chunk management
• Support multi-model LLM integrations — model evaluation, prompt engineering, and testing
• Build and maintain tools in the platform’s tool ecosystem across multiple domains
• Contribute to document ingestion capabilities — processing, OCR, chunking, and vector embedding generation
• Assist with content safety and moderation capabilities
• Participate in R&D activities — evaluating new models, testing retrieval strategies, and prototyping new patterns
• Write comprehensive tests for AI components
• Document AI system behaviour, edge cases, and integration patterns
• Collaborate with the backend and frontend teams on integration points

#RequiredSkills

• To qualify for the role, you must have:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field
• 0–2 years of experience in AI/ML engineering or software engineering with AI focus (internships and academic projects count)
• Solid Python proficiency — comfortable with async programming and clean code practices
• Familiarity with LLM concepts — prompt engineering, tokenization, context windows, and model APIs
• Basic understanding of RAG architectures — vector databases, embeddings, and similarity search
• Experience with at least one cloud LLM API — Azure OpenAI, Google Vertex AI, OpenAI, or equivalent
• Familiarity with Python ML/AI libraries (LangChain, LangGraph, or equivalent frameworks)
• Understanding of REST APIs and how to integrate AI components into web applications
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced production environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

#PreferredSkills

• Experience with agent frameworks — LangChain, LangGraph, or equivalent
• Familiarity with document processing pipelines — OCR, layout analysis, text extraction
• Experience with vector databases (e.g., Azure AI Search, Pinecone, Weaviate, or equivalent)
• Understanding of embedding models and chunking strategies
• Familiarity with FastAPI or similar Python web frameworks
• Experience with MongoDB or PostgreSQL
• Knowledge of tool-use frameworks for LLM agents
• Personal projects or coursework involving LLM applications or RAG systems
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows
