We are looking for a mid-level Power BI Developer to take ownership of our Power BI solutions — building, maintaining, and improving the reports and dashboards our business relies on. Beyond the BI layer itself, we want someone comfortable enough with SQL and REST APIs to adjust data sources and connections independently, without needing to hand off every change.

The position

The successful candidate will be based in Thessaloniki and his/her main duties will include:

• Developing, maintaining, and enhancing Power BI reports, dashboards, and datasets
• Designing and optimizing data models (star schema, relationships, DAX measures)
• Writing and optimizing SQL queries against SQL Server to feed reports
• Connecting Power BI to REST APIs and other data sources, and adjusting those connections as needs change
• Implementing row-level security and managing workspaces and deployment in the Power BI Service
• Tuning report and refresh performance (query folding, incremental refresh)
• Meeting directly with clients to gather and clarify business requirements, then translating them into clear, usable reports
• Perform testing and validation of developed solutions prior to delivery.
• Manage and deploy new versions
• Install and configure new environments
• Maintaining data quality and keeping documentation up to date
• Participating in reviews and technical discussions

Tech Stack

• BI / Reporting: Power BI (Desktop and Service), DAX, Power Query (M)
• Backend: C#, .NET, with Entity Framework Core and Dapper for data access
• Database: SQL Server (T-SQL)
• Data Sources: REST APIs, SQL, files / Excel
• Tools: Git, Power BI deployment pipelines, CI/CD, modern data practices

Your profile

In order for you to be able to successfully carry out the duties of the job, you should possess the following:

• ~2+ years of experience developing Power BI solutions
• Good knowledge of DAX and Power Query (M)
• Good knowledge of SQL / T-SQL, including writing and optimizing queries
• Familiarity with REST APIs — consuming data, handling authentication, and adjusting connections
• Understanding of data modeling principles (star schema, normalization)
• Experience with the Power BI Service (workspaces, row-level security, scheduled refresh)
• Ability to turn business needs into clear, well-structured reports
• Comfortable speaking directly with clients to understand their needs and communicate technical concepts in plain language
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
