UNCOMN is seeking a Data Analyst (Data Management) to:
- Maintain enterprise data inventories, metadata, lineage, and governance documentation.
- Assess data sources, monitor data quality and operational performance, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations that support operational awareness and decision-making.
- Gather stakeholder requirements and translate business needs into reporting and data management solutions.
- Evaluate visualization usability, accessibility, and enterprise reporting standards.
- Collaborate with engineers, analysts, cybersecurity personnel, and stakeholders to improve enterprise data quality and reporting capabilities.
- Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance, granted by the US Government, which requires US citizenship. The government also uses 13 adjudicative guidelines to determine an individual's eligibility.
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis, data management, business intelligence, enterprise reporting, or information management.
- Experience supporting data governance, metadata management, data quality, and enterprise reporting initiatives.
- Experience gathering stakeholder requirements and translating them into actionable reporting or analytical solutions.
- Experience with modern analytics and visualization technologies such as SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Databricks, Palantir, Advana, or similar enterprise platforms.
- Strong written, verbal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work on-site in support of USTRANSCOM mission requirements and obtain additional certifications as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience supporting Department of Defense or other federal mission environments.
- Experience with enterprise reporting, data governance, data modernization, or digital transformation initiatives.
- Familiarity with accessibility (Section 508), user experience, or enterprise architecture principles.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Security+, CDMP, Tableau, Qlik, AWS, Azure, Databricks, or similar).
