What You Will Do:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable ELT/ETL pipelines on AWS
- Develop and optimize data models and transformations in Amazon Redshift
- Implement and maintain CDC (Change Data Capture) ingestion pipelines
- Build orchestration workflows using AWS Step Functions
- Develop serverless data processing solutions with AWS Lambda and Glue
- Manage data lake architecture using Amazon S3
- Implement and evolve Medallion Architecture layers (Bronze / Silver / Gold)
- Monitor data quality, pipeline reliability, and system performance
- Integrate event-driven solutions using Amazon SNS
- Collaborate with analytics, BI, and software engineering teams
- Ensure security, governance, and best practices across the data platform
- Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve platform stability

What You Will Bring:
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related role
- Experience with AWS Glue, Amazon Redshift, AWS Lambda, AWS Step Functions, Amazon S3, Amazon SNS
- Experience implementing CDC solutions
- Strong understanding of Medallion Architecture and modern data lake concepts
- Strong knowledge of Python/PySpark
- Expertise in SQL and experience optimizing large-scale queries
- Good understanding of IAM, security, and cloud-native AWS services
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and technologies
- Experience with data integration and transformation tools
What Would Be Nice To Have:
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation)
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality frameworks
- Experience with streaming/event-driven architectures
- AWS certifications
About Your Contract:
- Full time, indefinite.
- Working hours: 40 hours/week, office hours (hybrid).
- Legal requirements: You need to be to be currently eligible to work in Hungary.
