We are looking for a talented Team Leader IV - 2nd Shift to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in York, SC
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Drive safe, compliant operations every day by proactively identifying hazards, enforcing HSE standards, and fostering an "interdependent safety" culture where the team looks out for one another.
- Ensure consistent product quality by enforcing standard work, applying SPC and poka-yoke practices, and quickly escalating and resolving any quality concerns or non-conformance.
- Deliver on production targets by effectively coordinating team activities, assigning work, and monitoring output to meet volume, cost, waste, and schedule expectations.
- Act as the first line of response to equipment faults, material shortages, safety risks, and quality issues-minimizing downtime and maintaining operational flow.
- Optimize team performance and efficiency by aligning staffing, overtime, and resources with production demands while reducing waste and controlling costs.
- Strengthen cross-functional communication by coordinating across shifts, departments, suppliers, and support teams to keep operations running smoothly.
- Develop a high-performing team by coaching, mentoring, and ensuring all training is completed, documented, and aligned with evolving business and technology needs.
- Champion continuous improvement by engaging the team in identifying opportunities to enhance safety, quality, processes, material flow, and overall productivity.

Education, Licenses, Certifications: High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. Experience: Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.

Industrial maintenance experience is required. Specific knowledge on automation, hydraulics, welding and CNC machining is desired.
5 years minimum industrial maintenance experience required.
