About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineering & Analytics Lead to drive data strategy, build scalable data infrastructure, and deliver actionable insights that support strategic decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable data engineering solutions, including ETL, data modeling, and data pipeline architecture for large and complex datasets
- Apply advanced analytical and statistical methods to build forecasting, economic modeling, and performance analysis that solve complex business problems
- Develop intuitive dashboards and visual analytics using Power BI, Excel (Power Query), SAS, and other BI tools to support cross-functional stakeholders
- Translate analytical insights into clear reports, metrics, and executive-ready narratives that guide strategic operations and decisions
- Perform in-depth project data analysis and identify patterns, trends, and opportunities to improve processes and reporting capabilities
- Create and maintain robust technical documentation and deliver data support to leadership, operational teams, and business partners
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to ensure data quality, reliability, and governance
- 7+ years of experience designing and delivering complex data engineering solutions
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office, advanced Excel (including Power Query), SAS, and SAP
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools for data visualization and analytics
- Strong analytical foundation with the ability to solve complex problems and translate them into business value
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field (or equivalent combination of education/experience)
- Advanced proficiency in SQL
- Knowledge of utility business operations
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent certification
