Help shape the future of Data & Analytics at Ellab
Ellab is on an exciting growth journey and data is at the heart of our success. We're building a unified, company-wide Business Intelligence platform that will empower better decision-making across our global organisation.
To help us achieve this vision, we're looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer who is passionate about turning data into business value.
As part of our growing Data & Analytics team, you'll work alongside Data Warehouse Engineers, BI specialists and analysts who own the entire data lifecycle - from extracting data from operational systems to delivering actionable insights through modern reporting solutions.
You will help drive the evolution of Ellab's reporting landscape from fragmented reports and ad hoc data extracts to a centralized, scalable BI platform.
What You'll Be Doing
This is more than a traditional BI role. You'll play a key part in shaping how data is consumed and leveraged across Ellab. You will:
- Partner with stakeholders across the business to understand data and reporting requirements.
- Gather and translate business requirements into scalable BI and data platform solutions.
- Develop, maintain and optimize semantic models within our Power BI platform, enabling analysts and business users to generate meaningful insights.
- Act as a trusted advisor to business users, helping them unlock the full potential of data and analytics.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues across functions and geographies to establish best practices and drive adoption of modern BI solutions.
Why This Role Is Exciting
- You'll have a direct impact on Ellab's global data strategy.
- You'll help build and shape a modern BI platform from the ground up.
- You'll work with stakeholders across multiple business areas, including manufacturing, consulting, operations and corporate functions.
- You'll join a company experiencing significant growth, where data-driven decision-making is becoming increasingly important.
- You'll have the opportunity to influence both technology choices and ways of working.
What You'll Bring
You combine strong technical skills with a genuine interest in understanding business challenges.
You ideally have:
- 3 - 6 years of experience working with Power BI and SQL.
- Experience designing semantic models and translating business requirements into analytical solutions.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- A passion for helping users become more data-driven and self-sufficient.
It would be an advantage if you also have:
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric and the wider Microsoft data ecosystem.
- Experience working in complex, enterprise-scale environments.
- Exposure to multinational organizations and diverse business domains.
- Knowledge of finance, supply chain, procurement, resource planning or related business functions.
