We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with deep expertise in Microsoft Fabric to join our data and analytics team. This role will be pivotal in designing, building, and optimizing enterprise-scale data solutions that power advanced analytics, reporting, and AI-driven insights. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technologist with a strong background in modern data platforms, cloud-native architectures, and data engineering best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement end-to-end data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric and Snowflake, including ingestion, transformation, and storage layers.
- Design and optimize data models for analytics, BI, and machine learning workloads.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across business units to understand data needs and deliver scalable solutions.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and security across all data assets in Fabric and Snowflake.
- Integrate Fabric with other Microsoft ecosystem tools (Power BI, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake, etc.) to deliver unified analytics experiences.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to establishing best practices in data engineering.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Stay current with emerging trends in cloud data engineering, Microsoft Fabric, and Snowflake capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 2+ years of hands-on expertise in Microsoft Fabric.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and Spark for data processing.
- Experience with data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and distributed data systems.
- Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures and Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
- Proven ability to design and manage large-scale data warehouses and data lakes.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices (CI/CD, version control, automation).
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher, with strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with global teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and collaboration abilities.
