The role

As a Data Engineer, you are passionate about experience innovation and eager to push the boundaries of what’s possible. You bring 3-5 years of experience, a growth mindset and a drive to make a lasting impact.

• Experienced in Agile methodologies and consulting (a plus)

Role Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain reliable and scalable data pipelines, primarily leveraging SQL
• Develop and optimize complex queries to support analytics and reporting needs
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality across multiple data sources
• Partner with stakeholders to translate business questions into data solutions
• Support experimentation frameworks, including A/B testing and data validation
• Work with analytics teams to deliver datasets used in dashboards and reporting tools (e.g., Metabase or similar)
• Communicate insights effectively through data storytelling, tailoring messages for non-technical audiences
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a client-facing consulting environment
• Contribute to best practices in data modeling, documentation, and governance

Must Have Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications:

• Solid experience working as a Data Engineer, Product Analytics, or similar role
• Advanced proficiency in SQL - Analyze data and identify and communicate insights is more important.
• Strong client-facing communications (translating to non-technical stakeholders, data storytelling)
• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines and transformations
• Understanding of data modeling concepts

Nice To Have Qualifications

• Experience with dashboarding/BI tools (e.g., Metabase or similar)
• Exposure to A/B testing, experimentation frameworks, or statistics
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Knowledge of data storytelling and visualization best practices
• Knowledge in Python
