Senior Data Engineer | Databricks Expert | Dublin 🚨

I'm currently working with a leading technology consultancy that is looking to hire a Senior Data Engineer with strong, hands-on Databricks expertise to join a major enterprise data transformation programme.

This is not a role for someone who has simply used Databricks as part of their stack. The client is looking for an engineer who has spent several years building, optimising and delivering production-grade Databricks solutions and can hit the ground running from day one.

🔹 Essential Requirements:

✔️ 5+ years of Data Engineering experience

✔️ 3+ years of hands-on Databricks experience in production environments

✔️ Advanced Databricks, Spark, PySpark and Delta Lake knowledge

✔️ Experience designing and building scalable data pipelines within Databricks

✔️ Strong understanding of Lakehouse architecture and modern data platform design

✔️ Excellent Python and SQL skills

✔️ Cloud experience (AWS preferred, Azure or GCP also considered)

✔️ Experience with Data Warehousing and Data Lake technologies

🔹 Nice to Have:

➕ MLflow / MLOps

➕ Airflow

➕ Data Governance & Data Quality tooling

➕ Tableau or Power BI

You'll be joining a highly skilled team delivering enterprise-scale cloud and data solutions, with significant ownership over platform design, optimisation and delivery.
