An Overview Of The Role
We’re looking for a technically minded consultant to help design, build and deliver large-scale Customer Experience (CX) programmes. This role is suited to someone who enjoys solving real-world technical problems, building solutions that work at scale and finding smarter, more efficient ways of doing things, including through the thoughtful use of automation and AI. A background in market research is not required. We’re particularly interested in candidates from software engineering, data, analytics or similar technical disciplines who are curious about applying modern technologies, including AI-driven approaches, in a new domain.
This is a hybrid role where you'll be required to work in the office (at least) two days per week.
What You’ll Do
- Build dashboards, manage data flows and create automations across platforms using our in-house technology and APIs
- Rethink processes from first principles, applying modern tools, automation and AI-assisted approaches to make them faster, simpler and more effective
- Support the testing, deployment and ongoing improvement of technical solutions
- Explore new tools, techniques and emerging technologies – including advances in AI – to continuously improve how we work and what we deliver to clients
- Work closely with clients and internal teams to translate technical ideas into practical, high-impact solutions
- A strong background in software engineering, data, analytics or a related field (at least bachelor’s degree qualified)
- Minimum 3 years working in a software engineering, data or analytics focused role
- Experience with programming languages including Python, JavaScript or similar
- Comfort working with APIs, automation, dashboards, and/or data pipelines
- Confidence working with large, complex datasets and solving technical problems
- A hands-on, curious mindset with a willingness to challenge existing approaches
- Able to work autonomously, take ownership of tasks and deliver to deadlines
- Interest in keeping up to date with modern tools and approaches, including the practical application of AI in day-to-day work
- Must have Australian permanent residency for work visa purposes
- Experience in CX VOC platforms advantageous but not mandatory
- Experience building Microsoft PowerBI reporting advantageous but not mandatory
- You’ll help shape how we use our in-house technology platform and AI-enabled approaches to deliver modern, scalable CX programmes
- You’ll contribute directly to improving processes, insights and outcomes for clients
- You’ll join a team that values learning, experimentation and practical solutions over rigid or legacy ways of working
CRIMINAL RECORDS INFORMATION
As part of our onboarding process, you will be required to complete a Criminal Records Declaration regarding any unspent convictions. For roles in finance, HR, Legal, IT or senior management, we may be required to verify your declaration with a basic DBS check, as well as an Adverse Finance and ID check.
