CSlope Solutions is hiring a Journeyman Business Intelligence Analyst to support a federal client within the Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP). In this role, you will serve as a key link between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating complex logistics data requirements into structured data models and actionable insights supporting enterprise web applications. This position plays a critical role in enabling data-driven decision-making across mission-critical Navy systems.
Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain logical and physical data models, including data dictionaries and data flow diagrams
- Lead and support requirements gathering and analysis, including stakeholder interviews and collaborative sessions
- Translate business needs into user stories, functional requirements, and technical specifications
- Facilitate workshops and working sessions to capture and refine system requirements
- Analyze existing data structures and business processes to identify data quality issues and optimization opportunities
- Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of data models and requirements
- Participate in Agile activities, including sprint planning, standups, and backlog refinement
Required Qualifications
- 3–6 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or systems analysis on IT programs
- Strong experience with data modeling techniques (e.g., ER diagrams, logical/physical data models)
- Proficiency in SQL, including writing and interpreting complex queries
- Experience conducting requirements elicitation and producing formal documentation (e.g., BRDs, FRS, user stories)
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate stakeholder sessions and translate business needs into technical solutions
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field OR equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting federal or DoD programs, particularly in logistics or supply chain environments
- Familiarity with Navy ERP, SAP, or NAVSUP data environments
- Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA, IIBA)
Security Clearance
- Public Trust (Tier 2 or higher); Secret preferred
Work Environment
- Work is performed on-site at a government facility in Norfolk, VA
- Candidates must be local to or willing to relocate to the Hampton Roads area
- This role is a full-time position aligned to a federal contract schedule
