À propos du rôle
About The Role
Orange Business is launching a major transformation of its product and services repository as part of the Master Catalog project. As Data Solutions Engineer, you will be at the core of the technical implementation - building the pipelines, integrating data sources and ensuring reliable, high-quality data across the organization. Prior exposure to MDM is a plus, not a prerequisite: we're looking for strong data engineering fundamentals above all.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain data ingestion and transformation pipelines (ETL/ELT) connecting source systems to the data hub
- Integrate heterogeneous data sources (CRM, ERP, OSS/BSS, legacy repositories) into a unified data layer
- Implement data quality rules, deduplication logic and reconciliation workflows
- Model data entities (products, services, offers, customers) in line with business and architecture requirements
- Work closely with data architects to translate platform design decisions into scalable technical implementations
- Contribute to the technical onboarding of the selected platform, from initial setup to first data integrations
- Participate in data governance bodies and deliver technical reporting to program steering committees
- Support data consolidation across group entities (Current Co & New Co)
- A greenfield project - you will be one of the first technical builders, joining as the platform is selected and shaping implementation from day one
- Real influence on technical choices: pipeline design, integration patterns, data quality rules
- Direct exposure to complex multi-source environments across a major international telecoms group
- A high-performing Data & AI team, competitive package and strong internal growth opportunities
- Master's degree (Bac+5) in computer science, data engineering or equivalent
- 5 to 6 years of experience in Data and/or AI, with a strong focus on data engineering and pipeline development
- Strong SQL skills and solid experience in relational and semantic data modelling
- Proficiency in ETL/ELT technologies (Talend, Informatica, dbt, Apache Spark, Kafka or equivalent)
- Experience integrating heterogeneous data sources (CRM, ERP, legacy systems)
- Full professional proficiency in both French and English (written and spoken)
- Hands-on experience with a data platform or hub (DWH, Data Lakehouse, or MDM) - recommended
- Familiarity with data quality and reconciliation frameworks - recommended
- Knowledge of TM Forum telecom standards (TMF620, SID/eTOM) - would be a plus
- Experience in agile, multi-stakeholder program environments - would be a plus
