Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data integration pipelines, including extracting, transforming, and loading data from traditional structured and non structured sources as well as SAS solutions such as Oracle Fusion Cloud
- Analyze and document business requirements to ensure technical solutions address stakeholder needs
- Collaborate with business users to map current vs. future state processes and identify improvement opportunities, with a focus on data consumption, reporting processes, and output usability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather integration requirements, map data models, and implement security protocols for ERP integrations
- Ensuring data quality, accuracy, completeness, traceability, auditability, reconciliation and control frameworks of data integrations till the downstream systems and reporting layer.
- Contribute to data pipeline orchestration, including scheduling, dependency management, and monitoring, troubleshooting and optimizing performance
- Ensure data structures and transformations support financial, regulatory compliance and management reporting requirements
- Partner with business teams thru requirements gathering, implementation, testing and deployment of reports
- Support testing cycles by implementation of automated testing, validating functionality, documenting gaps, and coordinating with technical teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on data pipeline development experience in Python or .NET
- Expertise with modern application frameworks and paradigms (e.g., .NET/C#, Java, OOD/OOP, functional programming, Spring, J2EE, SOA, DI, architectural patterns)
- PowerBI or any other market leading reporting tool to design and implement business reports.
- Understanding of microservices and API-based integration patterns
- Experience in database design, including relational and dimensional modeling, data warehousing approaches (e.g., star schema).
- Experience developing data solutions using cloud services (AWS) and associated tooling (e.g., EC2, ECS, S3, Redshift)
- Exposure to event-driven or streaming-based data processing is an advantage
- Experience with build and deployment tools (e.g., Visual Studio, Git/Bitbucket, Maven, Jenkins, Nexus, SQL Management Studio)
- Strong knowledge of data security, APIs, and data structures
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Familiarity with integration frameworks or messaging/streaming technologies is an advantage
- Experience working with financial reporting datasets (e.g., GL, subledger, or aggregated reporting layers) is a plus
