Data Engineer | Remote (Must be based in the US, East Coast hours )

We are working with a market-leading data and analytics business hiring a Data Engineer to join their growing Data Services team.

This is a great opportunity for a data engineer who enjoys solving complex data problems while working directly with customers to deliver high-quality, tailored datasets at scale.

You’ll be responsible for building and optimizing large-scale SQL queries, delivering customer data requests, improving data quality, and supporting both pre- and post-sales technical initiatives.

What they’re looking for:

• Strong SQL skills (joins, CTEs, window functions, optimization)

• Experience with large-scale datasets (billions of rows)

• ETL / pipeline development experience

• Strong experience with relational databases and modern data warehouses

• Experience working with APIs

• Strong communication skills and customer-facing confidence

Nice to have:

• AWS experience

• Geospatial, logistics, or maritime data experience
