Power BI & Dataiku Developer/Mid-Level Data Engineer

We would like to meet a Power BI & Dataiku Developer/Mid-Level Data Engineer for a project with a hybrid working model in Porto, Portugal.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports aligned with business needs.
• Build efficient data models in Power BI (star schema, measures, KPIs, DAX best practices).
• Perform data preparation and feature engineering using Dataiku (visual recipes and code-based workflows).
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to ensure clean, reliable, and analytics-ready datasets.
• Contribute to data science workflows in Dataiku, including exploratory data analysis and model experimentation.
• Support Generative AI use cases (e.g. prompt-based analytics, LLM integration, AI-assisted insights) within Dataiku.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and usability across reports and analytical assets.
• Participate in documentation, best practices, and knowledge sharing within the team.

Requirements:

• 3–6 years of experience in BI, Analytics, or Data-related roles.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI (data modeling, DAX, and visualization best practices).
• Hands-on experience with Dataiku for data preparation and analytics workflows.
• Solid understanding of data visualization principles and storytelling with data.
• Experience preparing datasets for analytics and machine learning use cases.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of data science concepts (e.g. statistics, ML fundamentals).
• Familiarity with Python and/or SQL.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Nice to Have

• Experience building or supporting machine learning models in Dataiku.
• Exposure to Generative AI or LLM-based use cases (e.g. embeddings, prompt engineering).
• Experience with cloud data platforms.
• Understanding of data governance and model lifecycle management.
