Data Integration Engineer

We are looking for a Data Integration Engineer to join the team. In this role, you will design and maintain robust and secure data integration solutions to ingest, synchronise, and distribute data across internal systems and external sources, as well as ensure seamless, reliable data flows into the enterprise data platform to support reporting, analytics, ML/AI, and operational decision-making.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop, deploy, and maintain data ingestion pipelines from enterprise systems (e.g. ERP, CRM, retail systems) into the data platform.
- Configure and monitor data connectors, APIs, and batch/streaming interfaces.
- Ensure data integration processes are secure, scalable, auditable, and aligned with data governance standards.
- Manage data mapping, transformation logic, and metadata capture to support data usability.
- Monitor integration performance and proactively address failures, delays, or data integrity issues.
- Collaborate with enterprise architecture, data engineering, and business application teams to support integration needs.
- Assist in automating interface deployment, version control, and rollback capabilities.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of data sources, mappings, and interface logic.
- Support ongoing platform enhancements and data platform roadmap delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Management, Computer Science, or a related field. Integration certifications (e.g. Azure Data Factory, WEB methods, Mulesoft) are a plus.
- 3+ years of professional experience working with data integration tools, interfaces, or middleware platforms.
- Experience working with APIs, cloud data services, or enterprise application integration.
- Strong understanding of data integration concepts (ETL/ELT, APIs, messaging, data sync).
- Proficient in using cloud-based data services (e.g. Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, or similar).
- Knowledge of SQL, scripting (e.g. Python), and data formats (e.g. JSON, XML, CSV).
- Awareness of enterprise data structures, security practices, and data lifecycle.
- Analytical thinker with strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.
- Strong problem-solving mindset and hands-on approach
- Ability to work in an international and fast-paced environment.
- Fluent English (mandatory) – you will work daily with international stakeholders

- Hybrid model: 2 days remote / 3 days onsite
