Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain data ingestion and transformation pipelines across raw (ingestion), integration (normalized), and presentation (analytics-ready) layers on the AWS data platform, including monitoring pipeline health and ensuring data is up to date
- Implement and maintain data quality checks (e.g., validation rules, anomaly detection, source reconciliation) to ensure data accuracy and consistency across all layers.
- Support the Analytics team by building and maintaining dimensional datasets for reporting and visualization.
- Investigate and resolve data inconsistencies in collaboration with the Analytics team.
- Support business-driven analysis requests
- Proficient in writing SQL and working with structured data
- Experience designing and building data pipelines for ingesting and preparing data from multiple source systems
- Understanding of batch processing, including how to handle incremental updates reliably
- Understanding of data modeling principles for analytics, including star schema and dimensional modeling.
- Careful and methodical approach to data quality and validation
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Experience working with cloud-based data platforms, especially AWS services like Redshift, Aurora, Glue, or S3.
- Familiarity with Power BI or other reporting tools, particularly in the context of supporting analytics teams.
