Position Overview:

The Regional Digital &AI Solutions Engineer is responsible for designing, building and maintaining data and AI solutions that accelerate Caldic’s digital transformation.


The role is responsible for enabling high-quality data integration, maintaining customer/principal-facing digital platforms such as Principal Portal, and developing AI-powered solutions that improve commercial effectiveness, customer engagement and operational efficiency across APAC.


The role supports the Regional Digital Solutions team by managing the technical delivery and continuous enhancement of digital platforms, including the Principal Portal, Spark and future AI-enabled applications.


The role collaborates with commercial, marketing, operations, date and IT teams to deliver secure, scalable, and user-centric solutions aligned with the regional Digital & AI strategy. The position is expected to identify opportunities for innovation, evaluate emerging technologies, and ensure digital solutions deliver measurable business value while maintaining data quality, governance, and operational reliability.


Key Responsibilities:


Digital Platform Management

Own the development, enhancement, and maintenance of regional digital platforms, ensuring reliable performance, seamless integrations, and an excellent user experience.


Data Engineering & Integration

Design and manage scalable data pipelines, integrations, and data models to enable high-quality, secure, and trusted data across digital solutions.


AI Solution Delivery

Develop and implement AI solutions aligned with the regional digital and AI roadmap, translating business opportunities into practical, scalable applications.


Product & Project Delivery

Partner with business stakeholders to define requirements, manage project delivery, coordinate vendors, and ensure successful deployment and user adoption.


Continuous Innovation

Identify emerging technologies and AI opportunities, recommend improvements, and drive continuous innovation to enhance commercial performance and operational efficiency.


Governance & Support

Ensure solution reliability, data governance, security compliance, documentation, and ongoing operational support for digital platforms.


Key Skills & Qualifications:


  • Degree in related topic.
  • 5–8 years experience in:
  • Data Engineering
  • AI Development
  • Software Development
  • Business Intelligence
  • Digital Product Development
  • Experience with customer-facing portals is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience delivering digital projects in a complex business environment
  • Experience working with cross-functional and multi-country stakeholders
  • Experience in matrix organizations preferred
  • Strong background working with commercial and business stakeholders


Technical Skills:

  • Data Engineering: Data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, data integration, API integration, and database management.
  • Cloud & Analytics: Experience with cloud platforms, data warehouses, business intelligence, and visualization tools.
  • AI & Automation: Knowledge of AI/LLMs, prompt engineering, AI agents, and workflow automation.
  • Software Development: Proficiency in Python, SQL, REST APIs, and version control practices.
  • Microsoft Ecosystem: Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Azure services, and enterprise collaboration tools.
  • Solution Architecture: Understanding of system integration, application architecture, security, and data governance.
