Data Engineer and Architect

Requirement Translation & Alignment

• Corporate Data Standardization: Define, document, and enforce data definitions and business logic to guarantee single-source-of-truth consistency across all corporate-wide reporting and dashboards.
• Bridging Business and AI: Act as the critical translator between business stakeholders and technical pods. You will break down complex banking and regulatory needs into highly structured data requirements for our downstream AI Engineering and Data Science teams.
• Enabling AI Use Cases: Ensure the underlying data architecture is properly structured to feed our predictive AI, behavioral biometrics, and hyper-personalized customer experience engines without latency or data quality issues.

Strategic Data Architecture

• Cloud-Native Blueprinting: Architect a highly scalable, cost-efficient cloud data ecosystem (e.g., Data Lakehouse) that eliminates traditional back-office overhead and directly supports our branchless operational model.
• Secure by Design: Embed PDPA compliance and strict access controls into the foundational architecture to ensure customer privacy is maintained across all personalized insights and API integrations.

Audit, Lineage, & Governance

• Audit Point of Contact: Act as the primary point of contact for all internal and external audits regarding data operations.
• Data Lineage: Establish and maintain comprehensive data lineage—tracking the lifecycle of data from customer origin, through our core systems, all the way to final regulatory and business reports. You must be able to clearly defend report logic to auditors.

Qualifications

• Experience: 7+ years of experience blending data architecture, data governance, and technical business analysis within financial services sector (commercial banks, or regulated FinTech).
• Regulatory Expertise: Deep, hands-on understanding of Bank of Thailand (BOT) reporting requirements, AML/KYC mandates, and Thai PDPA.
• Technical Architecture: Strong capability in designing modern cloud data architectures, data modeling, and master data management (MDM).
• Audit & Lineage: Proven track record of managing data lineage, working directly with IT auditors, and utilizing data governance platforms (e.g., Collibra, Alation).
• Communication & Leadership: Exceptional ability to translate complex technical constraints to key stakeholders while simultaneously explaining strict regulatory business logic to software and AI engineers.
