About The Role

As a Senior Data Engineer (Snowflake), will develop end-to-end Snowflake solutions for enterprise clients, aligning data strategies with business goals , compliance and technical requirements. Driven design and implementation of scalable data foundation platforms, including data ingestion, transformation (using dbt and SQL), security, and performance tuning within Snowflake and its integration with 3rd party products . Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess current-state architectures, define future-state roadmaps, and oversee cloud data migrations from legacy systems. Advised and trained clients on best practices around Snowflake features such as data sharing, data governance, zero-copy cloning, role-based access control, and cost optimization, Cortex AI. Acted as a trusted advisor throughout the engagement lifecycle, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing data ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Drive and consult our clients to ensure they will have right solutions to solve their use cases.
• Lead the design of scalable, secure Snowflake data platforms tailored to client needs.
• Drive end-to-end solution delivery, including data ingestion, transformation, and consumption layers.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Guide data migrations from legacy systems to Snowflake, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum performance.
• Implement best practices for Snowflake features such as virtual warehouses, data sharing, and RBAC, AI agent.
• Ensure the solutions respect all the compliance and security from client, industry and market regulatory (GDPR, PDPA, HIPAA).
• Optimize performance and cost through resource monitoring, query tuning, and workload management.
• Integrate Snowflake with ecosystem tools (e.g., dbt, Fivetran, Airflow, Tableau, Power BI, Streamlite).
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineering teams and client team.
• Support pre-sales activities, including technical assessments, solution demos, and proposal development.
• Support AI solutions with a strong data foundation design and development.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and security standards across architectures.
• Develop and maintain best practice of delivering clean and compliant data pipelines.
• Responsible for Technical Solution design documents.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to data.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in data engineering,architecture, analytics and AI roles.
• English professional proficiency
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake, including advanced features and performance tuning
• Strong expertise in SQL and data modeling (dimensional, normalized, and data vault)
• Experience in tool like DBT
• Excellent communication and client-facing consulting skills
• Experience in consultancy.
• Proficiency in scripting or programming (e.g., Python, Java) for data pipelines and automation
• Experience with ELT/ETL tools such as dbt, NiFi, Fivetran, Airflow, Pentaho, openflow or Informatica
• Knowledge of data modeling , semantic layer and data architecture.
• Experience in AI tools to support development (Claude , Cortex Code …)
• Experience in developing data flow for AI (RAG, Gen BI , …)
• Exposure to Cortex AI (AI search , Document AI, …)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large and complex data sets.
• Strong communication skills to effectively explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment and with customers.
• Knowledge of data governance, security (RBAC, encryption), and compliance practices
• Familiarity with BI/reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker, streamlite application)
• Snowflake certifications (e.g., SnowPro Core or Advanced Architect) are a strong plus

Extra points if you have

• Thai language fluency
• Good communication skills in English
• Any certification in AWS or Azure.
• CI/CD experience (github, devops and liquid)
• Experience in Fabric, Databricks, Big Query
• Experience with docker, Kubernetes.
• Worked in more than one project and with various tech stacks.
• SI Vendor industry experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, data, Computer Science, or related field.
• Familiarity with statistical analysis and machine learning concepts is a plus.
