Sr. Analytics Engineer

You will
- Design, build, and maintain robust, modular, and scalable data models using tools like dbt to support self-service analytics and reporting.
- Partner with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate business logic into clean, reusable data transformations.
- Own and optimize semantic layers and data marts that power dashboards, KPIs, and advanced analytics.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across multiple domains (e.g., sales, inventory, customer loyalty).
- Collaborate with data platform teams to improve data tooling, observability, and performance.
- Contribute to the documentation and data literacy efforts across the organization.
- Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or related fields required or equivalent years of experience.
- Master's Degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering). preferred or equivalent years of experience.
- 3-6 years experience in analytics engineering, data modeling, or BI development.
- Expert-level SQL skills and strong experience with dbt, Snowflake, BigQuery, or similar modern data stack tools.
- Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and data testing frameworks (e.g., dbt tests, Great Expectations).
- Strong understanding of dimensional modeling, data warehousing, and ETL/ELT best practices.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally in a large, matrixed organization.
- Exposure to data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
