Global Asset Management - Data Engineer (Snowflake)

• Compensation: $225,000 to $375,000 total compensation

You are a data engineer who likes owning pipelines end to end rather than just patching them. You write clean SQL and Python, you have built ETL or ELT flows that other teams actually depend on, and you know Snowflake well enough to think about modelling, query performance, and cost, not just landing the data.

You would join the technology team at an asset management and insurance group that is building out its data function. That means shaping how integrations, pipelines, and the warehouse come together, rather than inheriting someone else's setup.

Day to day you would pull data from market feeds, internal systems, and third party tools, design the integration processes, and keep the pipelines feeding analytics and reporting. You would put real quality checks in place, help shape the warehouse design, and work directly with the analysts and investment teams who rely on the data being right.

What I am looking for: strong SQL and Python or Java, hands-on Snowflake (or another cloud data platform such as Databricks, Fabric, Redshift, or BigQuery), solid ETL or ELT and data modelling, and around five years in data engineering. Financial services or asset management background is a plus, as is Azure Data Factory and exposure to front office systems like Aladdin, Charles River, or SimCorp.
