Location: This role is preferably hybrid in-office at one of Impel's locations — Syracuse, NY; New York, NY; Burlington, VT; or Salt Lake City, UT. Remote will be considered depending on candidate location and experience.


Job Summary And Responsibilities

We're looking for a technically strong analyst to own how revenue data is structured, modeled, and trusted across the business. You'll work hands-on in Salesforce, SQL, and Snowflake to turn messy, multi-system data into accurate enterprise-wide reporting. This is a data and systems role at its core — you'll partner with Finance and Revenue Operations on KPI definitions, but the technical depth is on you.

  • Structure and model data across Salesforce, Snowflake, and source systems (including Sage and ADP) to enable accurate, enterprise-wide reporting.
  • Map, extract, and document complex Salesforce data — standard and custom objects — to support reliable, reusable reporting frameworks.
  • Build and maintain scalable Snowflake schemas that support analytics across the full customer lifecycle.
  • Partner with Finance and RevOps to operationalize key SaaS metrics like ARR, NRR, retention, pipeline, and bookings.
  • Establish documentation, definitions, and QA checks that make people trust the numbers.
  • Build clear dashboards that help leaders monitor performance and act quickly.
  • Support Deals Desk and system admins on complex deal structures to keep data accurate and usable.
  • Apply modern AI tools to accelerate analysis, documentation, and SQL development.


Qualifications

  • 5–8 years in revenue operations, data analytics, business intelligence, or a related technical role.
  • Advanced SQL, including writing and optimizing complex queries in Snowflake or a similar cloud data warehouse.
  • Strong, hands-on understanding of Salesforce data structures, custom objects, and CRM workflows — Salesforce admin experience is a major plus.
  • Experience pulling and reconciling data across multiple systems (CRM, ERP/finance, HR platforms).
  • Experience modeling SaaS revenue, pipeline, or retention metrics.
  • Strong communication skills — you can explain technical challenges and trade-offs clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

  • Standout Salesforce admin depth.
  • Familiarity with modern data stack tools (dbt, Fivetran, or similar).
  • Experience with AI tools, such as Claude, for analysis.
  • Prior B2B SaaS or high-growth tech experience.
