Roles & Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery across Data Engineering & Platform, BI & Visualization, Data Science, Data Analytics, and Customer Insights
- Drive foundational setup including environments, disaster recovery, CI/CD, and platform observability (SnowMonitor)
- Implement performance testing frameworks across data pipelines and reporting
- Oversee Data Science lifecycle, including production model management, MLOps setup, and orchestration pipelines
- Build and manage onshore/offshore teams and lead knowledge transition (shadow → primary → steady state)
- Collaborate with Customer Insights teams and external partners to integrate insights into Snowflake analytics
- Maintain SOPs, runbooks, KEDB, architecture/design documentation, and knowledge repositories
- Enforce ITSM processes, CAB governance, and change management practices
- Run governance cadence (weekly, monthly, quarterly) with SLA/KPI tracking, risk management, and continuous improvement
- Manage dependencies across parallel projects, including onboarding, access, and delivery risk mitigation
- Drive continuous improvement including self-serve enablement, report rationalization, and cost/performance optimization
Key Skills
- Must-Have:
- Leadership across Data Engineering, BI/Visualization, Data Science, Data Analytics, Customer Insights, Data Governance, and Automation
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, Azure Blob, Fivetran, Bitbucket, and Python
- Strong expertise in Power BI governance and CI/CD; MicroStrategy legacy support
- Metadata management, Data Quality, and MDM governance
- Understanding of ITSM processes, SLA/KPI management, and service delivery models
- Strong stakeholder management and vendor coordination
- Good-to-Have:
- Microsoft Fabric (F64 capacity)
- Qualtrics for customer insights
- JSM/Jira practices
- Performance testing across data pipelines and reporting
