About the role
Join our newly formed Data & AI team, within a well-established central Technology organization, to help build the next generation of EUNICE's Energy Portfolio Intelligence platform. You'll sit at the intersection of Data Engineering, Data Science, Trading, Forecasting, and Operations — turning market, forecasting, and portfolio data into trusted analytical products that drive decisions across the company.
What you'll do
· Build and maintain analytical datasets and data products for Trading, Forecasting, Operations, and Portfolio Management.
· Design core analytical assets: Asset Master, Portfolio Position, Forecast vs Actual, Exposure Analysis, Revenue Attribution, Settlement Analysis, and Portfolio KPIs.
· Develop curated, business-ready data layers within our AWS lakehouse.
· Write SQL and Python transformations (dbt) that standardize business logic, KPIs, and analytical calculations.
· Support Grafana dashboards and analytical reporting workflows.
· Partner with Trading, Forecasting, Operations, and Commercial teams to translate business requirements into analytical solutions.
· Drive data quality, governance, and KPI standardization.
What you bring
· 4+ years in Analytics Engineering, BI, Data Analytics, or Data Science.
· Advanced SQL and strong Python.
· Solid data modeling and analytics engineering; dbt experience strongly preferred.
· Experience with PostgreSQL, Athena, or similar analytical databases.
· Grafana, Power BI, or Tableau.
· AWS analytics (Athena, S3, Glue) and Git — a plus.
· Energy, Utilities, Trading, or Financial Services background strongly preferred.
· Bachelor's in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, or a related field; Master's a plus.
