In this highly project-driven position, you will focus on improving key operational KPIs across production – especially around Error Rate, Minutes per Box, and continuous improvement initiatives. You’ll combine hands-on operational presence with data-driven decision-making to create measurable change.
What You’ll Do
- Support and lead Yellow and Green Belt projects within a production environment to improve operational KPIs.
- Identify improvement opportunities across production processes and implement sustainable solutions together with cross-functional teams.
- Drive change initiatives related to new processes, technologies, and systems to ensure successful adoption across the organisation.
- Analyse operational data using tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, Grafana, Tableau, or SQL and translate insights into actionable business decisions.
- Low-Code/No-Code Platforms: applications with PowerApps, AppSheet, or similar tools to bridge the gap between "data insight" and "on-floor tool."
- Be actively present on the shop floor, engage with teams directly, and help drive a culture of continuous improvement.
- Document process improvements, best practices, and project outcomes in a structured and transparent way.
- Drive standards and expectations in line with standard work and operational excellence principles.
- Provide training and support on process improvement methodologies, tools, and techniques. (Lean, Six Sigma)
- A degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Operations.
- Experience: 3–5 years in a manufacturing or high-volume fulfillment environment
- Proven experience contributing to or leading improvement and operational excellence projects
- Strong practical experience in Lean Methodology & its tools
- Strong knowledge in AI tools and modern digital solutions
- Passion for combining data analysis with hands-on operational work
- Strong analytical and prioritisation skills with a KPI-driven mindset
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, Grafana, Tableau, or SQL
- Strong communication skills and an extroverted personality with the ability to engage and influence people on the shop floor
- Resilience and a 'roll-up-your-sleeves' attitude to problem-solving when faced with real-time operational challenges
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build strong relationships with stakeholders up to senior management level
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment (Agile Practitioner)
- Fluent in German or English, with at least B2 level in the other language
