In this role, you will work at the intersection of data engineering, analytics, and emerging AI capabilities—helping transform raw data into meaningful, trusted insights that support critical business functions such as finance, operations, and portfolio management.

Pay rate: $120K-$135K annual. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

About the Role

As a key contributor, you will design scalable data models, build robust pipelines, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality data products. This is an opportunity to play a foundational role in shaping data strategy, driving innovation, and enabling AI-powered solutions in a rapidly evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize ELT workflows using SQL and dbt to transform raw data into clean, reliable datasets
  • Design and maintain dimensional data models to support reporting, analytics, and advanced data use cases
  • Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Implement data quality checks, validation processes, and testing frameworks to ensure accuracy and reliability
  • Build and maintain data ingestion pipelines from APIs, databases, SaaS platforms, and other structured/unstructured sources
  • Support AI initiatives by designing foundational data layers powering automation and intelligent systems
  • Manage and optimize data infrastructure, including orchestration, monitoring, and performance tuning
  • Contribute to governance frameworks including data security, access controls, and metadata management
  • Apply engineering best practices (Git, CI/CD, automated testing) to support scalability and maintainability
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization to reduce manual effort and improve data delivery speed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or similar roles
  • Strong experience with Snowflake and dbt
  • Proficiency in SQL and data modeling; experience with Python for pipeline development and automation
  • Familiarity with orchestration tools such as Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, or Airflow
  • Understanding of modern data architectures including Lakehouse and data warehousing concepts
  • Experience building scalable data pipelines and transformation workflows
  • Knowledge of data governance principles including data quality and lineage
  • Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD workflows
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
  • Comfortable using AI tools (e.g., coding assistants, LLMs) to enhance productivity and innovation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Power BI or other BI tools
  • Familiarity with generative AI technologies, LLM APIs, or emerging AI frameworks

This is a high-impact opportunity to help define analytics engineering standards within a growing team while contributing to forward-looking initiatives in data and AI.
