You’ll architect and operationalize a scalable, end-to-end data ecosystem that transforms raw information into strategic intelligence. By designing robust AWS-based data pipelines, optimizing data models, and strengthening BI warehouse and OLAP capabilities, you’ll ensure reliable, high-quality data is accessible to decision-makers across the organization.
Leveraging AI and machine learning, you’ll integrate AWS services such as Textract and Bedrock to automate data extraction, classification, and advanced analytics—elevating traditional BI into intelligent, predictive insights. Through the application of big data technologies and data science principles, you’ll deliver high-impact analytics solutions that drive innovation, operational excellence, and smarter business decisions.
What you’ll do
Responsible for the data model and data flow design of the BI AWS Infrastructure by working closely with
- data engineer peers to ensure that created DWH technical setup adhere to conventions and standards,
- analysts and visualization developers to ensure that back-end models are aligned with the business requirements and ensure that all implemented ETL transformation logic is aligned with company-wide definitions of metrics, dimensions, other data points and
- 2Go and SMIC Tech or IT and other groups for source to target mapping, accurately mapping target business requirements to the correct data sources.
- Perform regular checks on the BI infrastructure to ensure environment health, data integrity, and availability by working closely with 2Go and SMIC Tech or IT and other dependencies.
- Create DWH technical documents, including source-target mapping documents, data model and data flow documents, monitoring documents, and test scripts and testing documents. Initiate process, documentation, and technical design improvements on data warehouse delivery, including mentoring of other junior members of the team.
- Manage assigned deliverables and projects or initiative ensuring achievement of dedicated tasks that should result to satisfying overall project objectives with regular project phases update to team lead and/or to stakeholders.
- Bachelor degree in Information Technology , Computer Science, Engineering
- Highly collaborative, results- driven and customer-centric mindset.
- Expert in designing, implementing and maintaining end to end data lifecycle with direct queries from workaround database sources or in a proper Data warehouse setup
- Experience with other data warehousing/ETL platforms such as MS SSAS/IS, SAP BW, SAP DS, Oracle DI, a plus
- Expert in programming languages such as SQL, Python and its counterpart and coding in the AWS Tech stack, i.e. AWS Redshift, AWS S3, AWS Glue, Sagemaker , QuickSight , AWS Textract , AWS Bedrock, etc. and API Integration
- Background in Big Data, Web App and App development, low code app development, a plus
- Drive and handle effective communication with internal clients and internal dependencies, i.e. data engineers , IT .
- Familiarity with advance analytics (ML) platforms, LLMs (large language models), prompt engineering
