What you'll do
- Lead and independently execute data-driven audit engagements across diverse business areas, translating audit objectives into analytical tests that surface risks, irregularities, and outliers
- Apply Python, SQL, and related tools to extract, transform, and analyze large and complex datasets, turning raw data into actionable audit findings
- Design and deploy AI-assisted audit techniques, including machine learning models, anomaly detection algorithms, and LLM-based tooling, to proactively identify emerging risks and control weaknesses at scale
- Engage confidently with business stakeholders and audit leadership to communicate complex data findings in clear, non-technical language, bridging the gap between technology and audit judgement
- Contribute to the annual risk assessment and audit plan by surfacing data-driven insights and identifying technology-related emerging risks
- Continuously develop expertise across the data and AI landscape, actively bringing new tools, methods, and improvements into the audit function - helping to build a more technologically mature and forward-looking team
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Accounting, or Finance, supported by 3–5 years of hands-on experience in internal audit, data analysis, or a meaningful combination of both
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with confidence using data visualization tools
- Practical experience applying AI and machine learning techniques to real-world problems, beyond theoretical knowledge
- Broad IT literacy, including databases, cybersecurity fundamentals, and cloud environments
- Ability to navigate complex technical landscapes with confidence and ease
- A curious, technology-first mindset
- A natural inclination to use data and AI to answer questions, identify patterns, and solve problems
- Openness to exploring how data and AI can create value in an audit context
