Armeta builds an engineering intelligence layer for the construction and industrial sectors, embedding innovative AI solutions into the real economy — construction, design, and engineering — and creating global products from offices in Astana, San Francisco, and Doha. In Kazakhstan, Armeta analyzes initial permitting documents (ИРД) and design-and-estimate documentation (ПСД) for compliance with building codes and regulations, automating review workflows that were previously fully manual. The team is made up of experts with deep expertise in software development and ML/DL, and the technology is already in production supporting real-world engineering and compliance workflows. This is work on genuinely complex AI product architecture — not another GPT wrapper — aimed at the digital transformation of an industry long considered impossible to automate.

Role Description

The Business / System Analyst will own the translation of business needs into clear, buildable product requirements for Armeta's AI products. Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering, analyzing, and formalizing business and system requirements, and writing precise technical specifications for the development team while working with APIs, endpoints, and technical documentation. The analyst will form and validate product hypotheses, run A/B tests, and perform in-depth data analysis to drive product development. The role includes prioritizing work and managing the workflow in Linear within an Agile (Scrum/Kanban) process, as well as participating in testing — designing test scenarios, working with artifacts, and writing basic automated tests. The analyst operates with a high degree of autonomy and is expected to take real ownership of the product. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Astana, Kazakhstan.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in system or business analysis within the IT industry.
• Solid understanding of IT product architecture, with hands-on experience using XML/JSON, Postman, and Swagger.
• Confident command of SQL (PostgreSQL) and Excel, plus basic Python scripting skills.
• Proficiency with BPMN and UML notations.
• High level of proactivity and a go-getter attitude, with the ability to take ownership of a product and work effectively in a highly autonomous environment.
• Experience in B2B SaaS or AI startups is a plus.
• Domain expertise in construction or engineering design is a plus.
• Skills in automating routine work with AI tools are a plus.
• Basic proficiency in Figma is a plus.
