Scope of Projec

t:New York State Information Technology Services (ITS), supporting the Higher Education Services Corporation (HESC), is seeking an Expert Database Administrator to support the Grants & Scholarships project portfolio. This position will supplement the existing database team to deliver Governor-priority initiatives resulting from the 2024 New York State Budget. The consultant will be responsible for designing and maintaining enterprise data architecture, developing logical and physical data models, creating database objects and scripts, optimizing SQL performance, supporting data conversion and gap analysis efforts, and collaborating with technical and business teams to ensure reliable, scalable, and high-quality database solutions for HESC's Grants and Scholarship program
