Business Systems Analyst

We are seeking a talented IT/Business Systems Analyst to help support and improve the business systems, databases, reports, and custom applications used across a leading manufacturing operation with an outstanding culture.

This person will be part of a collaborative IT team supporting 150+ users with proprietary systems and reports custom applications, and technical support. Responsibilities include:

• Work with business users and IT team members to gather requirements, understand workflows, document processes, and recommend practical system, reporting, and application solutions.
• Develop, maintain, deploy, and troubleshoot SSRS reports, SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and related SQL Server database objects.
• Support SQL Server environments, including routine maintenance, monitoring, performance review, backups, data integrity checks, and coordination with outside technical resources when needed.
• Develop, maintain, enhance, and support internal applications using C#, VB.Net, WinForms, ASP.NET, Blazor, and related technologies.
• Support the full software life cycle, including requirements, design, coding, testing, deployment, documentation, troubleshooting, training, and end-user support.
• Troubleshoot business system, reporting, database, application, integration, data conversion, upgrade, and user issues, while identifying root causes and sustainable fixes.
• Maintain technical documentation, user guides, report specifications, deployment notes, support procedures, security practices, access controls, confidentiality, change control, and data integrity standards.

Requirements include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS, Software Development, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of experience in systems analysis, report writing, database support, application development, business systems support, or a similar IT role.
• Hands-on experience with SSRS, SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, report deployment, database support, SQL Server maintenance, and end-user report support.
• Programming or application support experience with C#, VB.Net, WinForms, ASP.NET, and Blazor or the ability to support and develop Blazor applications.
• Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into effective reports, applications, system changes, workflows, process improvements, or technical solutions.
• Experience troubleshooting business systems, reports, databases, custom applications, user issues, and legacy systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, communication, customer service, prioritization, follow-through, judgment, confidentiality, cybersecurity awareness, and change control discipline.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Total annual compensation range: $125,000 to $150,000, commensurate with experience.
