We at Coforge are hiring Senior Data Engineer (#22047) with the following skill set.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable ELT/ETL pipelines and modern data warehouse solutions using Snowflake, dbt, SQL, and Python.
• Build and maintain robust data models, transformation workflows, and cloud-based data platforms that support analytics and reporting.
• Implement DevOps best practices by managing CI/CD pipelines, GitHub version control, automated deployments, and data pipeline reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, production-ready data solutions while driving technical best practices and mentoring junior engineers.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering with strong expertise in modern data platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, dbt, and advanced SQL/PLSQL.
• Strong knowledge of ELT/ETL development, Data Warehousing, Data Marts, and dimensional data modeling.
• Experience designing, building, and optimizing end-to-end data pipelines.
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and GitHub.
• Strong Python skills for data processing, orchestration, or automation.
• Experience working with semi-structured data formats such as JSON and XML.
• Previous experience in the insurance domain.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Jira, and reporting solutions such as Power BI.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to mentor team members and drive technical best practices.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Sapiens platforms.
• Knowledge of cloud-native data architectures and optimization strategies.
• Experience implementing data quality and governance best practices.
• Exposure to performance tuning and cost optimization for cloud data platforms.
• Experience leading technical initiatives and contributing to long-term data strategy.
