Full Stack Software Developer for SkyTEM
Do you want to apply your skills in software development to make a real difference in the world? Join our team, where our technology helps protect groundwater resources, discover minerals, and design infrastructure.
As our new Software Developer, you’ll shape the way we build, design, and innovate. Your ideas will directly influence our products and the way we work. We thrive on learning, boosting productivity, and having fun while hitting ambitious goals. Does this sound like the right environment for you? Keep reading.
You will be part of the team responsible for developing the software that operates our equipment, as well as the software that handles data processing and infrastructure. We engage with the full development stack—from hardware integration to the web user interface.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing new tools for system control and data analysis.
- Building and maintaining data handling and infrastructure, including locally hosted and cloud-based databases
- Developing new UI and backend functionality within our systems
- Debugging, troubleshooting, and improving reliability across our software systems
Development and production take place in-house, giving you exposure to a wide range of expertise in high- and low-power electronics, mechanics, composites, and software.
The skills you’ll bring to make an impact
We are looking for you with a relevant degree in software development and demonstrated experience building high-quality software. We are open to a broad range of core strengths, but we are particularly interested in experiences within the following areas:
Backend & infrastructure
- Python, Rust, FastAPI, Tokio/Axum
- PostgreSQL
- MQTT
- Azure, Terraform
- Linux
Frontend
- TypeScript
- React
Data & ML
We are planning to explore how machine learning can support data analysis, anomaly detection, quality control, and smarter workflows. You do not need to be a machine learning specialist, but if you are curious about applying ML ideas to solve real-world engineering problems, we would love to hear from you.
Bring Your Drive, Make an Impact
At SkyTEM, we have a “can-do” attitude and are looking for a like-minded colleague. If you enjoy working in an environment where humor and collaboration are valued, we might be the right place for you.
As we enjoy learning from each other and spending time together, we are looking for someone who lives within commuting distance of our office in Aarhus.
Ready to join our team?
We conduct interviews on an ongoing basis and will close the job posting once we have found the right candidate. Due to summer vacation we plan to start interviews mid-August.
We have chosen not to use traditional cover letters in our application process, but we are still very interested in learning what motivates you to apply for this position. Please incorporate your motivation directly into your CV. You can find more information on what this entails here before applying.
