For our team at our Bubikon site, we are looking for a
Cloud & IoT Solution Engineer 100% (f/m/d)
Your responsibilities
- Design, development and operation of scalable cloud and IoT solutions, including on-premises solutions
- Integration and connectivity of IoT devices, sensors and gateways to cloud platforms
- Further development of existing cloud architectures and IoT systems
- Technical responsibility and lifecycle management of cloud services and IoT components
- Contribution to the development of new digital products and data-driven services
- Support of internal teams in the deployment, operation and monitoring of cloud and IoT systems
- Execution of testing, prototyping and proof-of-concepts (PoCs)
- Ensuring security, scalability and availability of solutions
- Monitoring market trends and evaluating new cloud and IoT technologies
- Close collaboration with international development and DevOps teams
- Completed degree (FH, university, ETH) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with cloud platform Microsoft Azure
- Good knowledge of programming language such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C#
- Experience with IoT technologies and protocols (e.g., MQTT, REST, OPC UA)
- Know how in Bicep, YAML, HCL as well as in Azure DevOps; Blazer or similar Frameworks as an advantage
- Knowledge of container technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of cloud architectures (microservices, serverless, event-driven architectures)
- Experience in data processing and streaming (e.g., IoT data platforms)
- Basic knowledge of IT security (identity and access management, encryption)
- Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
- Enthusiasm for new technologies and complex problem-solving
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills
