DevOps Engineer

We are partnering with a leading IT consulting firm specializing in digital transformation and custom software development. The Role

• Develop and configure cloud infrastructures using tools like Terraform and Kubernetes to create scalable and maintainable systems.
• Oversee the initial setup of systems, ensuring all necessary environments are rapidly and reliably deployed.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate builds, tests, and deployments.
• Integrate monitoring, logging, and observability tools (e.g., Datadog, OpenTelemetry) to optimize and oversee development and production environments.
• Collaborate closely with developers to refine development processes, resolve issues efficiently, and support the rollout of new features.
• Utilize OpenTelemetry and other observability tools for diagnosing and resolving performance issues within production environments.

What You'll Need

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS, particularly in CI/CD and automation.
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code principles (Terraform, Kubernetes) and cloud infrastructure management.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI) for automating builds, tests, and deployments.
• Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Go for process automation and efficient solution development.
• Experience with observability tools like Datadog, Prometheus, and OpenTelemetry for system monitoring and improvement.
• Ability to actively participate in agile processes and communicate fluently in German and English.
