Solutions Engineer

Location: Stockholm, Sweden


Overview

The Solutions Engineer acts as the technical advisor and trusted partner to customers, supporting the sales organization with deep cybersecurity expertise and solution-driven consulting. In this role, you will work closely with customers, partners, and internal teams to design and position Trend AI’s cybersecurity solutions across modern IT and cloud environments.


Key Responsibilities


  • Act as the technical lead during the pre-sales process, helping customers solve complex cybersecurity challenges
  • Deliver technical presentations, workshops, and live demonstrations of Trend AI solutions
  • Lead and support Proof of Concept (PoC) engagements
  • Design and position cloud security architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP
  • Build strong technical relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Channel, and Partner teams to drive business success
  • Share technical best practices internally and contribute to enablement initiatives
  • Support regional customer engagements and industry events (~30–35% travel)


Qualifications


  • 3+ years of experience as a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Security Engineer, or similar technical customer-facing role
  • Experience with cybersecurity technologies such as endpoint security, firewalls, IDS/IPS, XDR, or threat detection solutions
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with both technical and business stakeholders
  • Scripting or automation experience with Python, PowerShell, or Bash is considered a plus
  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or cloud certifications are advantageous
