DevOps Engineer

What You'll Do

• Direct the arrangement and management of the build infrastructure (Windows and Linux)
• Improve the reliability and performance of test and build processes
• Build and maintain automated release channels
• Proactively seek opportunities to automate the installation and maintenance of build tools and dependencies
• Review and recommend solutions and tools to streamline the software development process
• Own the process for releasing builds into QA and up to production
• Serve as the bridge between Engineering (dev & QA) and IT Operations

What We're Looking For

• Proficiency with AWS or other public cloud providers
• Proficiency in managing Windows and Linux systems
• Experience in monitoring and alerts
• Skills in build and deployment automation
• Familiarity with CI/CD toolkits such as Jenkins, Octopus, and secrets managers
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell and Bash
• Demonstrated history of applying continuous deployment (CD) up to production
• Technical application support and problem-solving experience

Desirable:

• Exposure to Agile/DevOps methodologies
• Experience with version control systems
• Knowledge of Kubernetes for container provisioning, orchestration, and clustering
• Familiarity with AppDynamics for Application Performance Monitoring (APM)
• Experience in Python
