Enterprise Architect

We are looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale AWS cloud platforms and modernization initiatives. This role combines enterprise architecture, cloud infrastructure architecture, roadmap development, and hands-on cloud engineering leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect enterprise-grade AWS infrastructure aligned with security, networking, governance, and operational standards.
• Develop target-state architectures, technology roadmaps, and strategic cloud adoption plans.
• Design and implement AWS services including VPCs, IAM, networking, compute, storage, databases, container platforms, load balancing, and monitoring.
• Support cloud migrations, modernization efforts, and operational readiness.
• Collaborate with business, engineering, operations, and product teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Produce architecture artifacts, diagrams, standards, and technical documentation.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of Enterprise Architecture experience.
• 3+ years utilizing enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, FEAF, CEAF, MITA.
• 5+ years developing target-state architectures, technology roadmaps, and portfolio planning.
• Experience developing strategic plans and measuring business outcomes.
• Strong AWS architecture and cloud infrastructure design experience.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD automation.

Preferred Qualifications

• TOGAF or Enterprise Architecture certification.
• Experience with Sparx Enterprise Architect or similar modeling tools.
• California Health & Human Services experience (DHCS, Medi-Cal, CalHEERS, MEDS, SAWS, etc.).
• MITA experience.
