The ideal candidate is highly experienced in cloud adoption, migration, infrastructure modernization, and multi‑cloud solution architecture. You will confidently engage with CxO‑level stakeholders, enterprise architects, and IT infrastructure leaders to articulate solution value, shape strategy, and influence outcomes.
You will also contribute to the evolution of DXC’s Cloud & Infrastructure portfolio through thought leadership, field feedback, and collaboration with service delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities
Pre‑Sales & Solutioning
- Provide high‑level and detailed consultative solution architecture and technical sales support for key customer opportunities.
- Understand customer business drivers and translate them into practical, scalable, and cost‑optimized technical architectures.
- Design public cloud (GCP, AWS, Azure), hybrid cloud, and multi‑cloud architectures, including landing zones, governance models, automation frameworks, and operational models.
- Develop high‑level and low‑level architecture documents, BoMs, migration plans, and technical solution descriptions.
- Lead customer workshops, discovery sessions, and whiteboarding engagements.
- Architect modernization solutions for legacy on‑premises infrastructure, including:
- Servers, virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper‑V)
- Storage (SAN/NAS/Object)
- Network, security, firewalls, load balancers
- Backup & disaster recovery
- Operating systems, databases, middleware
- Containers (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS, EKS)
- Develop strategies for on‑prem to cloud migration, including application re‑host, re‑platform, re‑factor, and consolidation approaches.
- Participate in or lead PoCs / demos to validate solution approaches.
- Engage confidently with CxOs, IT Directors, Enterprise Architects, and infrastructure leads to discuss IT strategy, cloud adoption, and modernization paths.
- Build trusted relationships with customers and position DXC as a strategic advisor.
- Provide consultative support to pursuit teams, Solution Leaders, and deal architects.
- Mentor junior architects and contribute to building architecture capability within the practice.
- Create end‑to‑end technical and commercial proposals, including architecture, migration efforts, delivery scope, and cost modelling.
- Work with cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, others) to optimize costs and propose value‑driven, commercially viable solutions.
- Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities throughout the engagement lifecycle.
- Support RFI/RFP responses and contribute to deal strategy.
- Publish white papers, reference architectures, and best practices for internal or external use.
- Provide field insights and customer feedback to refine DXC’s cloud portfolio, offerings, and accelerators.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum 8 years in systems integration with hands‑on experience across hybrid infrastructure.
- Minimum 5 years as a Solution Architect in pre‑sales, consulting, or architecture roles.
- Proven success designing and selling cloud, hybrid, and infrastructure modernization solutions.
- GCP, AWS, Azure, Oracle, IBM Public Cloud architecture: IaaS, PaaS, cloud-native services, identity, governance, automation.
- Hybrid Cloud architectures integrating on‑prem and cloud environments.
- Traditional Infrastructure: compute, virtualization (VMware, Hyper‑V), enterprise storage, networks, firewalls, load balancing.
- Disaster Recovery & High Availability: backup/recovery, multi‑AZ/region architectures, failover strategies.
- Container Platforms: Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes, AKS, EKS.
- Middleware & Databases: Sizing, upgrades, modernization considerations.
- Automation & DevOps: Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD pipelines.
- Cloud Security fundamentals across identity, policy, and network layers.
- Cloud migration tools & frameworks (Google Migration Center, Azure Migrate, etc.).
- Cloud orchestration platforms and monitoring tools.
- Multi‑cloud operations, governance, FinOps concepts.
- Integration of 3rd‑party tools and ISV technologies into cloud solutions.
- Strong Arabic as well as English verbal and written communication
- Excellent communication and presentation capabilities—able to articulate complex solutions to C‑suite as well as technical teams.
- Strong leadership, consultative engagement style, negotiation skills, and storytelling ability.
- Ability to manage ambiguity, lead solution threads independently, and collaborate across multiple teams.
- GCP Professional Cloud Architect Certification
- AWS Solutions Architect (Associate/Professional) OR Microsoft Azure Architect Technologies / Design
- VMware, Cisco, Red Hat, or storage vendor certifications
- TOGAF or comparable architecture frameworks a plus
