Cloud Network Engineer

Our client is seeking a Cloud Network Engineer to support and enhance enterprise cloud networking infrastructure in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This individual will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing secure and scalable cloud solutions while partnering closely with internal IT teams and leadership. This is a hybrid position based in Westchester County, NY.

Cloud Network Engineer’s Responsibilities And Duties

• Design, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable AWS cloud networking environments
• Support hybrid connectivity solutions including VPNs, routing, WAN, and BGP configurations
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network, infrastructure, and connectivity issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to improve service delivery and system reliability
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend enhancements to current infrastructure
• Assist with cloud migration initiatives and application integration efforts

Cloud Network Engineer’s Qualifications And Skills

• At least 3 years of experience in network engineering, cloud infrastructure, or systems administration
• Strong experience with AWS networking services and cloud architecture design
• Solid understanding of networking concepts including routing, VPNs, WAN, BGP, and hybrid cloud connectivity
• Experience with AWS services such as VPC, EC2, IAM, S3, ECS/EKS, Lambda, and RDS
• Familiarity with scripting or automation tools such as Python, PowerShell, Ruby, or Perl
• Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills
