IT Specialist Cloud & Networks (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities

• Manage enterprise‑grade network infrastructure and cloud connectivity (Azure, AWS, GCP), including hybrid and multi‑cloud environments.
• Implement and enforce QoS policies for critical traffic across global networks to ensure performance and reliability.

Oversee monitoring and observability tools to proactively detect and troubleshoot latency, jitter, packet loss and other network issues.

• Perform capacity planning and traffic analysis to forecast bandwidth needs, optimize routing, and reduce costs.
• Ensure integration of network and cloud platforms with security controls and compliance frameworks, including encryption protocols.
• Maintain disaster recovery, failover and redundancy strategies for critical services and validate failover configurations to ensure high availability.
• Manage relationships with global carriers, ISPs, MSPs and cloud providers; conduct technical reviews of vendor SLAs focusing on uptime and incident response.
• Define and document architecture diagrams, configuration standards and operational procedures in alignment with ITIL practices.
• Drive modernization to cloud‑based and SD‑WAN solutions and lead automation initiatives using Ansible, Terraform or scripting for configuration and reporting.
• Track service utilization and perform cost analyses of global circuits and cloud connectivity; manage budget allocations for hardware refreshes, licensing renewals and cloud contracts.

Your qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 5+ years managing enterprise network and cloud services in global/multi‑regional environments.
• Proven expertise in WAN/LAN/WLAN/SD‑WAN, cloud networking (Azure, AWS, GCP) and security edge technologies.
• Strong experience with ITIL processes for Incident, Problem, Change and Request management.
• Hands‑on vendor/MSP/carrier management for operational delivery and SLA compliance (preferred).
• Experience with network automation (Ansible, Terraform) and scripting (Python, PowerShell) (preferred).
• Exposure to regulated environments and security/compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, SOX, PCI) (preferred).
• Relevant networking certifications beneficial (e.g., CCNA/CCNP/CCIE, Juniper JNCIP/JNCIE) and cloud networking certs (AWS Advanced Networking, Azure Network Engineer) and/or ITIL v4 (preferred).
• Strong vendor/MSP negotiation and stakeholder management, ability to lead cross‑functional teams and coordinate global operations.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
