Cloud Engineer

humaineeti.ai is hiring a Cloud Engineer in Mumbai.

We're a opinionated team building agentic AI systems, data lakehouses, and GenAI products for enterprise clients. When we go to market, we need someone who can stand behind the architecture we're proposing — credibly, technically, and confidently.

This role sits at the intersection of deep AWS expertise and client-facing delivery. You'll be as comfortable in a boardroom as you are in an architecture review.

What this actually looks like

You'll work directly with our co-founders and technical leads — not through layers of management, not filtered through a project coordinator. When we're scoping a new engagement, you're in the room. When the client has a hard architecture question, you're the one answering it.

You'll shape client proposals, respond to customers' queries, and run technical discovery sessions alongside the people who built this company. You'll translate what we build into architecture that clients trust. When a prospect asks "how will this run on AWS?" — you're the person with the answer.

You won't be heads-down in a terminal all day. But you need to have been. Clients see through people who can't go deep when pushed.

Core requirements

→ AWS Solutions Architect Associate — certified, current, and genuinely understood

→ 3–4 years of hands-on AWS infrastructure experience — VPCs, IAM, EC2, S3, RDS, CloudFront, Lambda, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch

→ AWS data stack — S3-based lakehouse design, Glue, Athena, Lake Formation, Redshift, Kinesis — you can architect these in a client conversation, not just list them

→ Ability to produce and present solution architecture diagrams, effort estimates, and technical proposals

→ Comfortable owning the technical narrative in client meetings, discovery calls, and whiteboard sessions

→ Strong written communication — you'll co-author SOWs, POC scopes, and technical sections of proposals

Good to have

→ Familiarity with Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, or GenAI pipeline infrastructure

→ Prior experience in a consulting or solutions engineering environment
