Mid- Senior Level

Location: KL, Malaysia

Prior Experience in SaaS/ Software Industry is preferred

Language: Business-level fluency in English

Role

You'll join a dynamic team of 50 engineers, product managers, and UI/UX designers. You’ll collaborate with engineering management to drive roadmaps, strategic initiatives, and AI projects to level up platform scalability and AI capabilities. While influencing high-level direction, you’ll remain deeply engaged in hands-on problem-solving, tackling complex challenges that push the boundaries of our systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the CTO to shape business and technology strategy and roadmaps.
• Lead the design and execution of AI infrastructure supporting multiple business lines.
• Drive architectural decisions and implementation across engineering teams.
• Scale existing systems and build new tools and infrastructure.
• Coach and mentor engineers, fostering a culture of customer-first innovation and engineering excellence.
• Define quality and efficiency standards for software systems, balancing immediate customer needs with solid technical foundations.

What You'll Need

• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in microservice architecture, Kubernetes, and distributed systems.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript).
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Ability to adapt and learn quickly in a startup environment.
• Strong team player with attention to detail and enthusiasm for our products.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills.
