Ensure that electricity flows in Switzerland
As a (Senior) Cloud Security Engineer, you will be part of our Cloud Platform team and responsible for the secure use and continuous development of our Azure cloud platform. You will design security architectures and implement security measures, supported by our central Cyber Security team. Your responsibilities include:
- Engineering and implementing security requirements in our cloud environment, taking best practices into account
- Identifying and assessing cyber security risks for our cloud platform
- Defining and implementing preventive measures to mitigate cyber security risks
- Supporting cloud projects and operational initiatives by determining protection requirements and designing security solutions
- Creating and continuously maintaining cloud security concepts and standards
- Documentation and knowledge transfer
- Master’s degree in Cyber Security or Computer Science, with further training and/or certifications in Cyber Security and Microsoft Azure Platform technologies
- Several years of experience in cyber security roles with a focus on cloud security
- Experience in offensive security (security auditing, penetration testing, CTFs, etc.)
- Knowledge of hyperscaler technologies, particularly Azure, and related SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, and security services
- Experience with infrastructure automation and Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Git, Terraform), CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, GitHub Actions)
- Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service and/or Identity and Access Management IAM is a definite plus
- Knowledge of cyber security frameworks and standards (e.g. ISO/IEC 270xx series, NIST)
- Excellent communication skills in both German and English
