Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure
• Own and improve CI/CD pipelines for backend, frontend, mobile, and background services
• Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
• Design and maintain deployment workflows using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, PM2, Capistrano, or similar
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or similar tools
• Monitor production systems, logs, metrics, and alerts using ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar platforms
• Troubleshoot production incidents, identify root causes, and implement long-term preventive solutions
• Improve system reliability, availability, scalability, and deployment speed
• Manage cloud networking components such as VNet, Subnet, NSG, Load Balancer, Application Gateway, DNS, and SSL certificates
• Support database operations, backup strategies, replication, and performance troubleshooting for PostgreSQL/MySQL
• Apply DevSecOps practices including secrets management, vulnerability scanning, access control, and security hardening
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve architecture, deployment processes, and operational best practices
• Mentor junior/mid-level engineers and help raise DevOps standards across the team
• Document infrastructure, deployment processes, incident learnings, and operational runbooks

Requirements (Must Have)

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, System Engineering, or similar roles
• Strong hands-on experience operating production systems
• Strong Linux system administration skills
• Strong scripting skills using Bash, Python, Ruby, or equivalent
• Solid experience with Microsoft Azure in production environments
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar
• Strong experience with Docker and containerized deployments
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production or near-production environments
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform or similar tools
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools such as ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or similar
• Good understanding of networking, DNS, SSL, load balancing, firewall rules, and cloud security
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Good understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems
• Ability to troubleshoot complex production issues independently
• Good English communication skills, especially for technical discussion and incident reporting

Nice to Have

• Experience with high-traffic, fintech, payment, banking, or production-critical systems
• Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Load Balancer, Application Gateway, Front Door, or Cloudflare
• Experience with PostgreSQL replication, database scaling, backup, and disaster recovery
• Experience with Redis, Kafka, Sidekiq, RabbitMQ, or other background job/message queue systems
• Experience with security compliance, PCI DSS, audit preparation, or vulnerability remediation
• Experience with blue-green deployment, rolling deployment, canary release, or zero-downtime deployment
• Experience with cost optimization on cloud infrastructure
• Experience mentoring engineers or leading DevOps initiatives
• Familiarity with Ruby on Rails, Node.js, or modern web application stacks
