Senior Cloud Solutions Architect (AWS)

Job Summary

Senior Cloud Architect Leads design scalable cloud architectures, mentor teams, and drive technical strategy for enterprise solutions and public sector. They specialize in Cloud Architecture Design, Best Practices, Environment Sizing, Cloud Migrations, AWS services, HashiCorp tools, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices to deliver secure, efficient systems.

Leads cloud migration for large estate from on prem to Cloud and brings in tools experience for migration like MGN, CMF. Leads cross-functional teams in architecting complex solutions on AWS Cloud, focusing on networking, security, serverless computing (e.g., Lambda, API Gateway), data services like S3, Glue, Athena, EMR, and Redshift, AI services like Bedrock and Open AI. Oversees implementation of microservices on Kubernetes (EKS) and Hashicorp products including Terraform Enterprise (TFE) for IaC and Vault for secrets management in clustered setups. Champions DevOps/DevSecOps principles using CI/CD pipelines (e.g., CodePipeline, Jenkins) and tools like GitLab, Prometheus, and ArgoCD.

Working model: hybrid or remote at HN/ HCMC offices

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end AWS architectures ensuring high availability, cost optimization, and compliance with security best

practices (e.g., IAM, GuardDuty, WAF).

• Lead large scale Migration projects from on premise to AWS cloud and from cloud to AWS cloud.

• Lead DevSecOps implementation for automated provisioning, setting up control planes for multi-cloud architecture and application

deployment automation.

• Lead and implement security by design for cloud deployed solutions covering best practices across cloud, network and audits.

• Lead Containerization, Kubernetes cluster deployments, microservices orchestration, and hybrid/multi-cloud strategies.

• Implement and manage Hashicorp TFE workspaces, Vault HA clusters, and policy enforcement.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical roadmaps, prototypes, and migration plans.

• Conduct code/architecture reviews, automate security scans, and enforce DevSecOps workflows.

• Mentor junior architects, drive proof-of-concepts, and present solutions to executives.

Required Skills and Experience

• 8+ years in cloud architecture, with deep AWS expertise in VPC peering, Direct Connect, serverless patterns, and data pipelines.

• Should have delivered at least 2 migration programs for on premise to AWS Cloud in capacity as lead architect or cloud architect

• Should have experience in supporting database migration from on premise to Cloud

• Should have executed program for modernization on cloud • Should have expertise in Finops tools for cost optimization, service optimization and automation

• Proficient experience in IAM implementation, integrations with SIEM, SOC, SSO and multi-cloud networking

• Proficient in cloud observability design and implementation • Proficiency in HashiCorp suite: TFE for scalable IaC, Vault clustering for PKI/secrets.

• Hands-on Kubernetes (EKS/GKE), microservices (Docker, Helm), and observability (ELK, Grafana).

• Strong DevOps/DevSecOps: GitOps, IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation), automation scripting (Python/Bash).

• Excellent communication for stakeholder alignment and agile delivery.
