Cloud Operations Engineer

📍 Location: Guadalajara, Mexico (Hybrid/Onsite)

💼 Experience: 2–4 Years


We're looking for a Cloud Operations Engineer to join a growing team responsible for managing and optimizing production cloud infrastructure. If you're passionate about AWS, automation, Linux, and DevOps, and enjoy solving complex operational challenges, we'd love to hear from you.


What You'll Do:

  • Manage and support AWS cloud infrastructure in production environments.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud services to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Administer Linux-based systems and support application deployments.
  • Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
  • Work with Amazon RDS Aurora MySQL databases and assist with operational support.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve deployment, monitoring, and operational efficiency.
  • Leverage AI-powered development tools (GitHub Copilot, GitHub Agents, MCPs, etc.) to streamline engineering workflows.


Required Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC/Networking, IAM, WAF, and Load Balancers/Application Gateway.
  • Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with Terraform, Jenkins, Ansible, and GitHub.
  • Familiarity with Amazon RDS Aurora MySQL.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Scripting experience with Python or PowerShell.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in production environments.


Nice to Have:

  • Experience with New Relic or other observability platforms.
  • Exposure to coding or software development.
  • Interest in AI-assisted engineering tools and modern automation practices.
